so terrible picture of an engraved laptop hard drive platter.. and it seems i found a way to bring drawing back into my work. i miss it.... the platters are made of a kind of safety glass plated with boron and only about 2.5 inches wide. they flex a little but bend them too hard they shatter. or just hit them wrong with a diamond tip and they'll crack.
sooo i dont know why birds on a wire.. a little mundane but i felt like drawing it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ so i updated this.... slightly improved photo. the disk is almost a perfect mirror so its reflecting the sky |

yesss it is not at all kind to mistakes.. but its spontaneous sketches anyways with permanent marker cause nothing else sticks to the surface. and my bit is not perfect so the edges are not at all pristine.
